Stormy Weather
Welcome to Week 10 designers. This is ultimately the most important task of the season. This is your final chance to show us what you're capable of; testing your creativity and knowledge, to see if you're worthy of being in our Final 2. For this task we ask you to create a design of your choice that incorporates ONLY WHITE. When you walk the runway with your final individual design of the season; the water will release dye in your design that will stain the outfit any colour of your choosing. Good luck.

The silhouette is very slimming, the fabrics being ultimately smooth on the exterior of the design was a great way to portray this. The bulk around your neck being transferred into the rest of the design so flawlessly was my favourite aspect. I also enjoyed the colour you used. It didn't hide any of the key elements you designed and it moved through your design very fluidly. Thanks.

I like the simplicity here and the layered scarves, and the colour you chose really compliments the whole design. Nevertheless the bottom half is underwhelming to me, because I don’t think the clunky shoes work with this. You’re dripping in red-blooded wonder however, so your choice in utilizing the task this week to your will made it worthwhile. I was just expecting more.

In terms of the colour moving through your design; I think the folds and different use of fabrics helped a lot. The only downfall of this design for me would be the black horizontal line going through the bodice, it breaks the movement of the colour and it would have portrayed the task better had you decided on a different option. Overall a very strong approach to this task; the shoulder cut outs are amazing. Thanks.

Another case of almost giving up in the bottom portion of a design, your top is gorgeous, but the bottom i’m not so enthused about. The ruffles interconnecting with the scarf is a really nice effect; it merges together perfectly. Then this rigid horizontal block of a belt just obstructs the design and distracts from what made it good. It doesn’t provide a suitable transition or separation between the top and bottom. I do like the colour you chose this week. I think it drips down the outfit very effectively and it's quite dramatic - which I adore. But as all these designs this week, I wanted more.

The graphic you chose in the middle of your design; though inventive and unique, it played very safe in my opinion. I see more of a costume than fashion unfortunately. That being said, keeping the design short was very suave; it played well with the movement of colour. The smooth textures throughout the whole creation was admirable and the colour you used was delightful. Thanks.

I wasn’t per say expecting vibrancy from the white - but personally I was hoping out of all the colours in the spectrum, a brown wouldn’t be chosen. However that does not mean this design is ruined or anything; nor is it anything special. The outfit shouldn’t look its best before the transformation. The centre portion of your design seemingly doesn’t make a grand effort to create something new, it looks like the literal elements - a bowtie, skull then belt, and it just looks odd. I like the uniformity of this design but i’m let down knowing this was a 3 week effort.
That's it for Week 10 designers. You may have noticed that none of you are faded out in the cover photo; that's because you're ALL going to FINALE! The 3 of you have been front-runners all season long and it would be tragic to not see 1 of you create a collection. You've exemplified what it is to be a runway queen and we are proud to have the 3 of you move on to our finale. Thanks designers.
Conclusion
Congratulations all of you; though all of your designs lacked what was expected this week; you all gave a valiant effort. Our decision to move you all into finale was not hard at all. You have been front-runners all season long and there was no way we could fathom having one of you miss the opportunity to show us a collection. Well done, we look forward to seeing the last trick you've got up your sleeves. Thanks.
